Tidalwave CEO Diane Yu Named a Finalist for ThinkAdvisor's 2026 AI Innovator of the Year

Tidalwave CEO Diane Yu has been named a finalist for AI Innovator of the Year in ThinkAdvisor's 2026 Luminaries Awards, a category new this year recognizing individuals driving AI achievement across financial services.

She's shortlisted alongside finalists from LPL Financial, Raymond James, Mercer Advisors, and Orion Advisor Solutions.

The 2026 class was selected from the largest pool of nominations in the program's six-year history, spanning more than 380 financial services firms and individuals. Finalists were named by ThinkAdvisor's editorial team; winners will be selected by a 25-member independent judging panel and announced at the Luminaries gala on December 3 at the New York Hilton Midtown.

The nomination points to Yu's work building Tidalwave, an agentic AI platform automating the mortgage lifecycle from application through closing. Lenders on the platform have cut approval times from 43 days to under 15 and saved roughly $1,500 per loan, with Tidalwave on track to touch 200,000+ loans annually.
